The distinctive design of the hotel and garage exterior was inspired by the architectural characteristics of the preserved buildings of St. Charles’ historic Main Street and the newly-refurbished warehouse buildings of downtown St. Louis’ Loft District. The grand hotel tower is painstakingly detailed to incorporate the time-worn quality of aged brick and decorative ornamental cast moldings indigenous to the historic structures of the area. Guestroom windows mirror the reflective glow of night lights dancing across the nearby river. Two ballrooms, five meeting rooms and an executive board room are included in the 19,200 square feet of meeting space. High-end finishes, rich wood panels, exclusively-designed woven carpet and custom lighting define the contemporary look of the center. A state-of-the-art business center (updated computers are now available) and a fully-equipped banquet kitchen complete the spectacular facility, which is housed in the second level of Ameristar’s existing $360 million casino entertainment facility. Public Space including Hotel Lobby, Streetscape, Ryse Nightclub, and all Restaurants including the 5th Street Deli and Asia on the Casino Floor are now Smoke Free. The Hotel still offers smoking rooms on designated smoking floors and smoking is permitted on 50% of the Casino Floor.
