Diocletian's Palace is the most famous cultural and tourist attraction of Split, Croatia. Although called palace, it is more like a big fortress surrounded by walls and towers. It was built in the 4th century by Roman Emperor Diocletian who wanted to build a fortress to spend his retirement age. No wonder he chose the beautiful city of Split.

With an astounding history of 2000 years, Klis Fortress is a prominent historical monument in Croatian history. Emerging as a small stronghold, the fortress served as a strategic defense against foreign invasions for millennia. Klis Fortress also found its fame as a filming site for the popular TV show, Game of Thrones.

Marjan, the hill that overlooks the city has always been the most impressive part of Split imagery. Such a harmony betwwen natural and urban is rarely found; on one side the densely populated city in all of its glory and on the other a peninsula of almost pristine nature. Holy hill, as it is often called, harbors many monuments of sacred and secular architecture which are combined with this green oasis in such a way that they inspire a sense or awe an admiration even in a passer-by.

The greatest opportunities for an active holiday are provided precisely by the unspoiled nature of the Cetina canyon, which has enjoyed the status of protected significant landscape ever since 1963. Along its more than a 100 kilometers long course, the Cetina river has something to offer to all. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, you won’t skip Zipline, canyoning, kayaking or rafting – but if, on the other hand, adrenaline isn’t your thing, there’s no reason to worry – long walks by the river, sightseeing river boat tours or pure, spontaneous enjoyment of the scenery will definitely be a reward in themselves.

Meštrović Gallery, Split is the Museum of Art in Split, dedicated to the work of sculptor Ivan Meštrović from the 20th century. The gallery preserves and presents Meštrović’s most significant works whilst the sculpture park, together with two terraces overlooking the sea and islands, is one of the most glamorous wedding venues.

Krka National Park lies within Šibenik-Knin County, and covers a total area of 109 km² of the loveliest sections of the Krka River, and the lower course of the Čikola River. The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, including one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The purpose of the park is primarily to serve science, culture, education and recreation, while tourism activities have also been introduced for its visitors. Including the submerged part of the river at the mouth, the Krka River is 72.5 km long, making it the 22nd longest river in Croatia. It springs in the foothills of the Dinara mountain range, 2.5 km northeast of Knin. With its seven waterfalls and a total drop in altitude of 242 m, the Krka is a natural and karst phenomenon. The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are the fundamental phenomenon of this river.

Ancient Salona was one of the most important cities of the Roman empire of that time. Walking through Salona you will come upon one of the biggest ancient Christian cemeteries under the blue sky, The Manastirines. Salona, old roman center of Dalmatia, where today you can find remains of roman amphitheater, terms, forum, oldchistian cementery and medieval basilica.
