A mountain village at the end of all roads at an altitude of 1,100 metres in the middle of the Bavarian mountains. An enchanting, extraordinary place that you will always want to return to. The mountains are beautifully reflected in the crystal-clear Spitzingsee, while soothing silence and tranquility surround the town and the hotel, which is located directly on the Spitzingsee. By car From Munich: Leave the A8 at the Weyarn exit and follow the ST 2073 in the direction of Miesbach. This joins the B 307 in Miesbach and you continue in the direction of Schliersee/Neuhaus. Shortly after leaving Neuhaus, turn right from the B 307 up the Spitzingstraße, over the Spitzingsattel directly into the village! Coming from Salzburg: Leave the A8 at the Irschenberg exit and then take the ST-2077 via Hundham, towards Fischbachau and then turn onto the B 307 towards Schliersee/Neuhaus. Shortly before entering Neuhaus, turn left off the B 307 up Spitzingstraße, over the Spitzingsattel directly into the village. In winter: please note that appropriate winter equipment (winter tyres, snow chains) may be necessary. By train With the RB 55 line from Munich main station towards Bayrischzell, alight at Fischhausen – Neuhaus. The hotel can then be reached in about ten minutes by taxi or bus.

The Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area is located in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Spitzingsee. As the name suggests, the popular winter sports paradise around the Stümpfling and Roßkopf mountains connects the two picturesque valleys. From Spitzingsee, the curved lift or Stümpfling 4-seater chairlift take skiers and snowboarders quickly and conveniently to the area. From Rottach-Egern, a toll road leads to the valley station of the Sutten 4-seater chairlift and thus to the start of the winter sports fun. If the parking lot at the Suttenbahn is full, you can use the parking lot at the Enterrottach toll station and take the free ski bus to the valley station of the Suttenbahn. The area around the Stümpfling is ideal for beginners, intermediates and families. Experienced skiers can take the double chairlift up to the Roßkopf and set off on the short but challenging Roßkopf run or the long black Grünsee run. The enjoyable ski meadows on the Osthang and Nordhang lifts are wide and groomed. New in the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area is the Funslope at the Untere Firstalm. Small kickers, boxes and a wave track offer fun for the young and young at heart, whether on one or two boards. The new Funslope replaces the previous snow park and is also suitable for less experienced freestylers. It is always open at the weekend. Numerous rustic huts and mountain inns provide a varied gastronomic offer throughout the area, spoiling their guests with regional specialties. The local DSLV-certified ski schools round off the offer with their professional courses for beginners to intermediates and from toddlers to senior citizens. Every Thursday and Friday from 18:30 to 21:30, the Stümpfling slope is floodlit. The slopes are freshly groomed especially for the evening. Powerful floodlights bathe the descent in perfect light and the ascent with the 4-seater chairlift at night becomes an experience. All pistes are closed daily from 17:00 in the evening until 8:00 in the morning without restriction for piste preparation. The snow groomers are in operation during this time, there is a danger to life! The exception to this is floodlight operation on Thursdays and Fridays between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm.

Right at the mountain station, the rustic Jagahütt'n with its large sun terrace invites you to stop for a bite to eat. A new playground with a ball track is currently being built at the mountain station for younger guests.
