The Frenchgate Restaurant & Hotel is located 11 miles from Darlington main line railway station. Following your relaxing dinner retire to one of our nine individual guestrooms, all en-suite equipped with latest comfort features. If it is business that brings you to Richmond or a venue for a private party or function then The Frenchgate can accommodate you. From group bookings, room hire, delegate rates or a simple business lunch we are happy to discuss your needs. Our function room is the newly refurbished Georgian dining room with its original Adams fireplace, the “old coach house” lounge, with its high ceilings, stylish decor, original artwork and log fire will make your event memorable.
