Weather Considerations and Cancellations: As an outdoor venue, inclement weather can cause the cancellation of activities and/or the entire evening's events. This is for the safety of all participants because of the high incidence of lightning/wind in South Florida. The Zoo will not typically cancel for rain unless there is the greater threat from wind and lightning. As this is out of our control, Naples Zoo accepts no liability for weather cancellations and any specific costs incurred toward the event by Naples Zoo including third-party rentals delivered or services provided prior to cancellation notice require payment. Events or portions of events including cruises, shows and animal encounters prevented by rain incur a 10% cancellation fee not to be less than the non-refundable deposit if the entire event is cancelled. If events or portions of events are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice for non-weather reasons, a 50% fee is incurred.
