The McLemore House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The property has also been known as the Harvey McLemore House, as it was the home of ex-slave Harvey McLemore, who became a successful farmer. It has also been known as the House and Estate of Maggie Matthews. It dates from 1880 and it includes Colonial Revival architecture.

Fort Granger is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that is now a City of Franklin park, in the central Franklin area. It was part of American Civil War fortifications of Franklin and includes trenches dug by Civil War soldiers.

The Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary is a 160-acre wildlife sanctuary in northwestern Williamson County, Tennessee. Fossil traces in Ordovician limestone and 300-year-old giant trees, vestiges of the great eastern deciduous forest that once covered Tennessee, are important collections on the site, as are pioneer trees and seasonal wildflowers. The ponds and wetlands provide valuable amphibian habitat, home to more than a dozen species. 125 species of birds have been recorded on site through population surveys performed by the National Audubon Society. Nearly all mammals native to Middle Tennessee are in residence at Owl’s Hill.

Downtown Franklin’s historic district is 16 blocks of antique shops, bookstores, art galleries, boutiques, dining and entertainment in restored Victorian buildings and former homes. Community events are held throughout the year.

The Lotz House is a building in Franklin, Tennessee that was built in 1858. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

CoolSprings Galleria is an indoor shopping mall located off I-65 between Franklin and Brentwood, Tennessee. Anchored by five department stores, the complex is surrounded by smaller stores and plenty of dining options!

Our historic working farm is located in the gently rolling hills of Franklin, Tennessee. The seventh generation farm has been owned by our family for over 165 years. In recent years we have diversified our farming efforts to include pick-your-own pumpkins and growing hay as well as raising beef cattle. We also rent some of the nearly 400 acres to farmers who own combines and row crop winter wheat, corn, and soybeans. Our main focus is to offer educational programs for school groups in the fall and the spring and we also offer a down-to-earth fun summer day camp. Gentry’s Farm is a past recipient of the “Conservation Farm of the Year” for Williamson County for our efforts in stream mitigation and wildlife conservation easements. God has blessed us with this beautiful land and we enjoy sharing His creation with the community.

The Union Army took control of the 288-acre plantation, cotton gin and surrounding homes in the five-hour Battle of Franklin Trust. Today, the land, buildings and personal artifacts are preserved and guided tours are available.
