Greater Fort Lauderdale/ Broward County Convention Center's $1.3 billion expansion offers meeting planners endless possibilities. -1.2 Million sq ft of space including 350,000 sq ft of exhibit space, a 65K waterfront ballroom, 6-acre outdoor tropical plaza, and 801-room headquarter hotel OMNI Fort Lauderdale. -The Exhibit Hall divides into (3) sections, there are (5) ballrooms and (45) meeting rooms that can be configured in a variety of ways to meet the needs of any group. -The conference and meeting space are located throughout the three levels of expansive architecture and distinctive décor. -Proud to be one of the first LEED Gold Certified Convention Centers in the county, which includes saving water and energy, increasing recycling and waste diversion efforts, and conducting sustainable purchasing. -Known as the "Venice of America", the venue offers panoramic water views through a soaring glass wall of the cruise port and the waterway. -Phase two of the East the expansion will be complete in the fall of 2025. **HOTEL INFORMATION** The Convention & Visitors Bureau offers a partnership with several hotels located within a short distance to the Convention Center to provide over 3,000 hotel rooms. Participating hotels include the 801-room Convention Center connected headquarter hotel OMNI Fort Lauderdale, Hilton Marina, Renaissance, Pier Sixty-Six, Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, B Ocean, Embassy Suites, and the Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn and many more.
