The Sella Park Hotel was awarded the accommodation of the Year award in the 2010 Copeland Pride Awards. Quietly located in 6 acres of mature gardens sweeping down to the River Calder, Sella Park is a historic property dating from at least the 16th Century. Some scholars suggest it was possibly the Sea Grange of nearby Calder Abbey complete with tithe barn; others believe a Pele Tower was at its core, to deflect marauding Scottish Raiders. The hotel is very popular for weddings and corporate events, we have our own on site luxury Marquee, four meeting rooms and 6 acres of beautiful gardens.
