Situated on the shores of the Bay, our boutique hotel beckons you to explore a neighborhood that is alive with the bustling energy of sailors, kayakers, residents, and travelers. Culinary delights line the waterfront and square, while salons, shops, breweries, and wine tasting rooms are tucked away inside converted warehouses. The hotel features 8,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. Your guests will love the instant access to the outside, whether it is from the Spinnaker Ballroom, which overlooks the Oakland Marina and opens to the boardwalk or one of our breakout rooms, which opens to our heated salt water pool area. After meetings, delight them by upgrading your guests to our water view balcony rooms, where they can rest with a beverage and watch the sailboats flying their own spinnakers while coming back in from a day exploring the Bay. Jack London Square begs to be explored and provides many opportunities for networking, whether it is at the bowling alley and beer garden, Plank, or one of the oldest bars in California, Heinhold’s First and Last Chance Saloon. The pedestrian square is a rare find in a providing a publicly accessible mixed-use waterfront area and is one of the Bay Area’s premier recreational, dining and commercial districts. The Waterfront Hotel features 145 guestrooms, many with views of the estuary and square. With the largest ballroom at 2,500 square feet and a junior ballroom at 2,200 square feet, we specialize in small meetings. From 5 to 150, you’ll find our space comfortable and relaxing. With the views, you’ll find your meetings are creative and inspired. With the fantastic catering skills of Lungomare, you’ll find your guests happy and ready for seconds. By the end of the meeting, you’ll already be planning your next event here. The Waterfront Hotel is the unexpected.
