Lisbon Portela Airport, also known as Lisbon Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. It is the main international gateway to Portugal and a major European hub. It is one of the largest and best equipped airports in Western Europe for maintenance, navigation and air traffic control, and passenger service, having been nominated as Europe's Leading Airport for five consecutive years in the World Travel Awards.

Tagus River, Portuguese Rio Tejo, Spanish Río Tajo, longest waterway of the Iberian Peninsula. It rises in the Sierra de Albarracín of eastern Spain, and flows westward across Spain and Portugal to empty into the Atlantic Ocean near Lisbon. The Tagus covers the heart of Portugal and Spain and has been of vital importance to the modern economic development of the two nations.

Opened in 1985, Amoreiras is one of the most iconic commercial spaces in Lisbon and Portugal. Because of its characteristics and irreverent design, the Shopping Center has become an obligatory stop for residents and tourists. It has a total area of 45 thousand square meters and has more than 200 stores. At Amoreiras, you can find all sorts of merchandise, which goes from fashion, food, decoration, culture, leisure to health and beauty. It covers a population of three and a half million, with an average number of 12.5 million visitors per year.

The monastery is one of the most prominent examples of the Portuguese Late Gothic Manueline style of architecture in Lisbon. It was classified a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the nearby Tower of Belém, in 1983.

The Cultural Centre of Belém is the largest building with cultural facilities in Portugal. The CCB's 140,000 m² spaces was initially built to accommodate the European Presidency, but adapted to provide spaces for conferences, exhibitions and artistic venues, in addition to political and research congresses, high security meeting halls, and a 7,000 m² exhibition area.

Hosted the last World Exhibition in 1998 Expo offers much to suit varied interests. Contrary to historical center, Expo attracts its visitors with its 21st century modern architecture. In the entrance of the Park, Vasco de Gama Shopping Mall is located. For those who can’t do without shopping is a good option. Several attractions are located through out the park but if you don’t like to walk through those attractions, there is a teleferico (Lisbon Cable Car) connecting from one side of the park to the other. The biggest attraction is Oceanarium, the biggest oceanarium of Europe designed magnificently by American architect Peter Chermayeff. It offers live displays, environmental sounds capes and interactive media for its visitors. The other attractions in area include; an interactive science museum- the Knowledge Pavilion (Pavilhão do Conhecimento), the Virtual Reality Pavilion, Macau Pavilion, musical performances in the Atlantic Pavilion, bicycle rental, open-air concerts in Sony Square (Praça Sony) and the city’s tallest building Torre Vasco de Gama. The gardens are another great attraction and the Garcia de Orta Garden and the Water Garden shouldn’t be missed out. Ending your day by having dinner in the restaurants area of the Park is highly recommended.
