The city of Cannes with its Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is recognized as the leading business destination, after Paris, in hosting the most well-known events.  A human dimension city in a unique natural setting. Located on the Mediterranean coast and in the heart of the Côte d’Azur, Cannes is accessible by air, rail and road and benefits from a privileged climate all year round. With 8,000 rooms ranging from 2 to 5 stars, shops and restaurants, Cannes offers a unique experience where everything is accessible on foot.  A worldwide awarded destination : Awarded twice Europe’s Leading Festival and Event destination in 2021 and 2022 and voted by its peers as World’s Leading Festival and Event destination in 2022, Cannes is the first and only French city to win this prestigious award. - For over 75 years, Cannes has been host to the biggest cultural event, the Cannes Film Festival. It has been followed by a number of other events including the MIDEM, the MIPCOM, the MIPIM, the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Cannes Lions, the Festival de la Danse (Dance Festival), the Festival des Jeux (Games Festival), the Festival des Séries (Series Festival)… a variety of events which have turned Cannes into a unique destination.  Renewal / investments Since 2014, Cannes has been investing massively to offer the city the international dimension it deserves. After several districts of the city it is now the most spectacular part that it is undertaking with the renewal of the legendary Croisette. More elegant, more secure, greener and better illuminated, the Croisette will be both aesthetic and transformable, dedicated to business as well as leisure, luxurious while remaining accessible to all. Many private economic operators such as the hotels Le Majestic, the Carlton, the JW Marriott, the Martinez as well as the Palm Beach, have also invested nearly a billion euros to increase the attractiveness of the famous boulevard. The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès of Cannes is also part of the dynamic and places innvovation and technology at the heart of its new facilities. It has therefore created a permanent digital studio, the Hi5 Studio which is equipped with state-of-the-eart technologies, a 120m² set and 350-person audience capacity to respond to new hybrid event formats.  Sustainably welcoming the world The Palais des Festivals today holds ISO 20121 certification, an international standard for sustainable events management. In order to continue its commitment, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes is the first conference centre to become « société à mission », a purpose set out in three major objectives: connect, take care and reveal Connect: creating links beyond differences and distances Take Care: improving well-being and developing solidarity Reveal: inspiring the world and revealing its talents.
