Expected to open in early 2014. Hyatt Regency Tianjin East will be a new landmark in the booming city of Tianjin. With the first Hyatt hotel in mainland China, Hyatt Regency Tianjin, opened in 1986 and closed in 2009, the opening of Hyatt Regency Tianjin East marks the return of the Hyatt Regency brand to Tianjin. Located on Weiguo Road in Hedong Distict, Hyatt Regency Tianjin East is a new landmark and part of a quickly emerging business hub connecting the east area of Tianjin and Tianjin Binhai New Area. As the first truly extraordinary five-star hotel in Hedong District, the hotel is within 20 minutes of the airport and 10 minutes of downtown Tianjin and with easy access to TEDA, Dongli, Beichen, Wuqing and Xiqing industrial zones. Consisting of a 25-storey tower and a 3-storey podium building, the hotel offers 306 spacious guestrooms and suites. Innovative restaurants, including Market Café, Wok in the Garden Chinese Restaurant and Lobby Lounge, provide delightful dining experiences. More than 2,000 sq m of elegant event and meeting space including one 750 sqm of grand ballroom, seven meeting rooms and two VIP rooms take care of all the business and wedding needs of guests.
