Inaugurado en mayo de 1996, el centro está dividido en tres grandes secciones que cubren una superficie de 40.000 metros cuadrados, lo que lo convierte en un lugar ideal para todo tipo de eventos, ferias y exposiciones. El Centro Internacional de Ferias y Congresos de Tenerife, ubicado en la zona de expansión de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, se ha convertido en la nueva imagen de la entrada sur de la capital. Su posición estratégica combina la facilidad de acceso y la rápida comunicación por autopista con los dos aeropuertos de Tenerife, el puerto y cualquier punto de la isla.
