Bukit Nanas near Kuala Lumpur Tower is one of the oldest permanent forest reserve in the country. It was gazetted in 1906 and was formerly known as Bucket Weld Forest Reserve. It covers an area of approximately 11 hectares and is the only remaining tropical rainforest in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur. It celebrated its Centennial Anniversary in year 2006. The operating hours of the park is from 7:00am to 6:00pm daily including public weekends and public holidays
