El Templehall Hotel, Morebattle, una posada rural de gestión familiar, tiene una hermosa ubicación en la tranquila campiña de las fronteras escocesas. Nuestras cuatro habitaciones bien equipadas se mantienen con un alto nivel de comodidad y limpieza para brindar a nuestros huéspedes una estadía satisfactoria y una buena noche de sueño. Recientemente hemos renovado la antigua lechería adyacente al edificio principal para ofrecer dos cabañas con cocina, recién decoradas y amuebladas. Nuestro acogedor bar público, el «local» del pueblo de Morebattle, sirve cerveza de barril, vinos selectos y una buena selección de cervezas embotelladas. Nuestro comedor también está disponible para alquilar como lugar para eventos, con capacidad para aproximadamente 80 personas. Regularmente organizamos una variedad de eventos, que incluyen fiestas, cenas con baile, bautizos y recepciones fúnebres, seminarios, reuniones de clubes y música en vivo.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

Our company was founded in 2008 by Alana Hoye Barnaba. Originally from upstate New York, Alana moved to New York City and immediately began her love affair with its food, history, and culture. For years before creating her company, Alana tried every type of food the city had to offer and began specializing in the tastes of ethnic neighborhoods. Some of her first experiences with the city’s culinary adventures were fresh dumplings and homemade mozzarella — foods included on the signature tour today. Soon after, Alana started Ahoy New York Tours & Tasting and has been sharing her love for the passion, culture, and history of the city through food tours of New York neighborhoods. Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting’s goal with each tour is for customers to leave not only with the knowledge of the area and full of delicious food but also an experience to tell friends and family about long after the tour is complete
