About us

Pravda translates to mean “The Truth”. And nothing could be more honest about Wellington's coffee culture than this cafe, bar and bistro. Set in the heart of the city amongst the hustle and bustle of share traders, commuters and visitors to the Lambton shopping precinct, Pravda is located in an elegant building with towering vaulted ceilings and hanging chandeliers of crystal. Pravda is set amongst the sights and sounds of a capital city but still providing some respite from the intrusions of modern world with the charm of a bygone era. It offers an exclusive dining room suitable for functions, celebrations, parties and any other events and can accommodate 40 - 60 people.
