About us

Surrounded by the rolling hills of South Limburg, you will find a historic estate. A unique setting for special gatherings with the possibility of overnight stays. Here, gastronomy, history, and experience come together. Welcome to Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek! A meeting in an authentic castle room or a grand event within the walls of the courtyard. A congress in the Moretti pavilion or participating in a falconry workshop on our estate. In this centuries-old castle, dating back to 1420, gatherings naturally become extraordinary. With no less than 22 meeting rooms, spread over the hotel and the castle, Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek accommodates gatherings of up to 350 people and outdoor events for up to 1250 people. Stay overnight in one of the 130 modern hotel rooms, enjoy the surroundings on the terrace, experience the coziness in the atmospheric bar, and savor the flavors of Burgundian Limburg in our restaurant.

GETTING HERE BY CAR: Maastricht (N278) From the centre of “Maastricht” follow the “ANWB” signs in the direction of “Luik/Liege”. Take the exit Cadier en Keer/Vaals (N278) and follow this road for about 25 KM. Continuation: see “from the roundabout in Vaals” From Amsterdam (A2/E25) and Brussel (A2/E314): at the junction “Kerensheide” you go in the direction of “Aken/Aachen”. Take the exit “Vaals/Simpelveld” (N281) and head to the right. On the A76 en follow the “ANWB” signs with “Vaals” till you reach the roundabout just before you enter Vaals. Continuation: see “from the roundabout in Vaals” From Düsseldorf (A44) en Köln (A4/E40): at the “Aachener Kreuz” you go in the direction”of “Maastricht-Heerlen” (A4). Take the second exit (“Laurensberg Richterich-Herzogenrath”). At the traffic-lights you drive to “Aken/Laurensberg”. After 500 meters you go in the direction of “Maastricht/Vaals”. You drive through the main street of Vaals until you arrive at the second roundabout where you go to the left in the direction of the “Drielandenpunt”. After about 1 km go to the right (Eschberg). After about 800 meters you will find the “Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek” at your left hand side. From the roundabout in Vaals: On the roundabout you go to the right in the direction of the “Drielandenpunt”. After about 1 km go to the right (Eschberg).
