The Kingston Estate is located in Totnes, England. The sense of peace and calm of the estate makes for a perfect family holiday, weekend escape or romantic honeymoon yet with a myriad choice of excursions and natural wonder on the doorstep. The House has a choice of three exquisitely decorated and furnished en-suite period suites available on a per night basis, perfect for a weekend escape or romantic honeymoon. In addition, it offers 9 elegantly designed 5 Star Self Catering Cottages as well. For the smaller, sophisticated wedding, the historical ambiance and elegant charm of Kingston together with dedicated highly personal service is a perfect match and an area in which we excel. Flares in the gardens on a Summer's evening, or roaring fires in the winter, candlelight and lovely flower arrangements in the Bride's color scheme make the perfect setting. The Marble Hall is licensed for Civil Weddings and Civil Partnerships and can seat up to 50 people. Wedding breakfasts can be either in the house (adult guests only), the Garden Suite or a Marquee in the gardens. In the house, we can accommodate up to 42 guests for a seated breakfast or up to 60 for a buffet, with dancing in the Hall afterwards. The Garden Suite can seat up to 100 and has a lovely oak floor for dancing, with sound system, and adjoining bar and buffet room. A marquee in the West Garden will seat up to 130 and can be connected by a covered walkway to the house, giving direct access to the Hall and other House reception rooms. Hidden amidst the verdant landscape of the South Hams, the Kingston Estate is a meeting and conference venue with a distinct difference. The main function room is located within the charming self-contained Garden Suite and offers a modern, highly efficient environment with up to date technical equipment including a sound system, translation service, data projection and a dedicated catering facility. Smaller gatherings, events or board meetings can choose from three rooms within Kingston House, each with a very individual and unique character.
