Cancellation Policy
If the Contracting Party notifies the Director of Special Events of the event cancellation, Lyndhurst will refund deposits and payments as follows: Six (6) months or more prior to the Event Date, full refund (less a $500 processing fee and the membership fee); between five (5) and six (6) months, one-half (½) of the Site Rental Fee and the deposit (less a $500 processing fee and the membership fee); and less than five (5) months, there will be no monies refunded. In cases where the Contracting Party must cancel the Event due to scheduling conflict, the deposit may be applied to a new contract and event date, provided that the Event is rescheduled within the same fiscal year of the original signed contract. Notwithstanding the foregoing terms of this paragraph, upon any cancellation of the Event by the Contracting Party, Lyndhurst will use good faith efforts to resell the time block for the Event, and if a resale occurs at the same pricing as the Event, the full amount of the Rental Deposit (less a $500 processing fee and the membership fee) shall be returned to the Contracting Party.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: One half of the Rental Rate, membership fee, and security deposit in the amount of $3,250.00 is due and payable at the signing of the Special Property Use Contract Agreement in order to reserve the event date. If the signed contract and payment is not received within two (2) weeks after the date of signing, the reservation will automatically be canceled. The balance of the rental rate in the amount $2,250.00 is due in full on or before two weeks prior to the event date. Choose from one of the four required caterers: Catering by DoubleTree, Philip Stone Caterers or Regal Caterers, Le Moulin Event Planning & Catering or Sterling Affair. Tenting is by Party Line Tent Rentals of Elmsford, New York. 2013 Site Rental Fee: Saturday Wedding Site Fee $5,000; Fridays and Sundays $4,000 Weekday and off season usage negotiable Refundable damage/cleaning deposit: $500 To add Rose Garden Ceremony: plus $500 to any of the above, rain or shine. Rain call to be made by the Caterer on the day of the event. Arrangements are made directly by the client with our partner vendors: Catering/Food & Beverage service is contracted with one of the four approved caterers: Catering by Le Moulin Event Planning & Catering, Ltd., Philip Stone Caterers, Sterling Affair, and Tastefully Yours. Tent and party rentals are contracted from $21 per person for the basic package directly with Michael at Party Line Tent Rentals. Valet Parking is contracted directly with Elite Parking, Inc. The interior of the Mansion is opened for small private events; however, the fee for this event space is priced according to the type of reception and number of guests.
