Wyndham's new "Count on Us" initiative includes additional cleaning protocols and procedures to help reduce the spread of COVID 19: Use of surface cleaner & disinfectant that is approved by the EPA against COVID-19 and influenza and is a hospital disinfectant; 80% alcohol-based hand sanitizer for use in hotel public areas and 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizer amenities for in-room distribution to guests; EPA approved disinfectant wipes to be provided to guests upon check in; hotel team members to wear face masks, all guestrooms will have a reduction of touch items, prominent signage regarding CDC guidelines and social distancing protocols. As a member of the American Hotel Lodging Association (AHLA) Safe Stay Advisory Council, Wyndham is joining other industry leaders as well as public health experts, scientists, and medical professionals to develop a series of industry best practices and guidelines focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions and workplace protocols that meet health and safety challenges presented by COVID-19.
