St. Nicholas is a Baroque church, decorated with sculptures by Antonín Braun. The interior design was inspired by the chapel of St. Louis-des-invalides in Paris. The delicate stucco decoration was executed by Bernardo Spinetti, and the frescos are by Peter Adam the Elder. During the winter the interior of the church is heated, but it is advisable to wear warm clothing for the concerts.

A small version of Paris's Eiffel Tower, Petrin Observation Tower was built in 1891 for the Jubilee Exhibition. The tower is 60m tall, which doesn't sound particularly high until you add the fact that it sits on the top of Petrin hill, overlooking the whole of Prague. The Observation Tower is set in landscaped gardens that dominate the summit of Petrin hill. These make for a very pleasant stroll anytime of the year, as an excursion from the city centre.

Loreta
Loreta
Historical landmark

A remarkable place consisting of a cloister, the church of the Lord’s Birth, a Holy Hut and clock tower with a world famous chime that has been situated in Prague Hradčany for more than 300 years. The previous generations built the Prague pilgrim place Loreta, a former church of the Lobkowitz family (the founders of the church). The following generations have been taking care of this heritage. The history of Loreta includes not only the best of baroque but it has also preserved the traces of spiritual life in our country. The carillon, a very precious musical instrument, extended the number of people delighted by Loreta. The visitors furthermore have access to the Loreta jewels with a unique collection of precious gifts of the Holy Virgin Loreta. We hope that the offered programme will enable you a deep spiritual and cultural experience. Since the foundation of Loreta, the Capuchin monks (whose monastery with the Church of the Holy Angel Virgin is situated in the neighbourhood) have taken care of Loreta and of the pilgrims. Currently a part of the monastery is accessible as the House of prayer used for spiritual exercises.

AThe Vysehrad complex covers a large area, with several interesting parts to explore. The two dominant spires seen from all around belong to the SS Peter & Paul Church. The impressive interior of the church has been restored and is open to visitors. Many of Prague's great artists, scribes, musicians and politicians lie buried in the cemetery adjacent to the church. Most notable are the graves of Dvorak, Smetana and Mucha.

Sunrise at Charles Bridge
Sunrise at Charles Bridge

This is the most iconic tourist attraction in Prague. The Charles Bridge was built during the 14th and 15th century and it’s gorgeous. While crossing the bridge pay attention to the sculptures, to the beautiful Vltava River and climb one of the towers, the view from the top is to die for. Our personal recommendation is to visit the Charles Bridge early in the morning. During sunrise, the old town looks even more beautiful and you will be able to enjoy the bridge without tourist, only a few photographers that know this is the right time to visit Prague top attraction.

This is one of the fun things to do in Prague, it’s full of tourists but it has a super laid back and artistic vibe. Many people believe the wall is only a memorial to John Lennon. But actually, the history tells that the graffiti and the poems are symbols of the pacific war against the communist regime that ruled the Czech Republic for so many years.
