The National Sanctuary of our Sorrowful Mother, popularly known as The Grotto, is a Catholic shrine and sanctuary in Portland, Oregon, United States.

The park is nestled in the downtown and fits right in, mostly because it is sunk some 40 feet below street level. This allows passersby on the street to peak in through the wrought-iron fence and see the game from the outfield. The two main entrances (one in left field and one behind homeplate) each feature a small courtyard and are almost identical in appearance. Once inside, the physical structure of the park is quite impressive. A large roof covers over 90% of the 23,000 seats. The seating is split by a center aisle that leads to the concourse area.

Cascade Station is a vibrant mixed-use development at the “gateway” to Portland International Airport. The 800,000 square foot retail center, located next to Oregon’s only Ikea store, features retailers and restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Bath & Body Works, DSW, Kay Jewelers, maurices, and the only YoCream and The Carhartt Store in the nation.

Founded in late 1892, the Portland Art Museum is the seventh oldest museum in the United States and the oldest in the Pacific Northwest. The Museum is internationally recognized for its permanent collection and ambitious special exhibitions, drawn from the Museum’s holdings and the world’s finest public and private collections. The Museum’s collection of more than 42,000 objects, displayed in 112,000 square feet of galleries, reflects the history of art from ancient times to today. The collection is distinguished for its holdings of art of the native peoples of North America, English silver, and the graphic arts. An active collecting institution dedicated to preserving great art for the enrichment of future generations, the Museum devotes 90 percent of its gallery space to its permanent collection. The Oregon Zoo, formerly the Washington Park Zoo is a zoo in Portland, the largest city in the U.S. state of Oregon. Located 2 miles southwest of Downtown Portland, the zoo is inside Portland's Washington Park, and includes a narrow-gauge railway that connects to the International Rose Test Garden inside the park. A member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, it has successful breeding programs for California Condors and Asian elephants. The zoo also boasts an extensive plant collection throughout its animal exhibits and specialized gardens. During the summer it is host to a concert series, and in the winter produces a holiday light show viewed from the train. The Oregon Zoo is Oregon's largest paid attraction, with more than 1.6 million visitors in 2008 to 2009.

In Portland's spacious Keller Auditorium, audiences have enjoyed Broadway productions, ballet, operas, family events and much more. The Keller (originally known as the Civic Auditorium) was built in 1917. It was completely renovated in 1968. Throughout the years, it has been the 'workhorse' theater for the city of Portland, hosting many performing arts events each year. The building is home to the Portland Opera and Oregon Ballet Theatre. It also hosts many national acts and traveling Broadway shows.
