About us

The Howgate is an exciting Restaurant and Bistro in Midlothian. The long and low building was originally stabling for race-horses and more recently a dairy, producing a wide range of Howgate cheeses. It also caters for private parties. The Howgate Restaurant is able to offer exclusive private dining facilities for parties of 10 - 50 by prior arrangement.
