The Louvre national museum and art gallery of France, housed in part of a large palace in Paris that was built on the right-bank site of the 12th-century fortress of Philip Augustus. It is the world’s most-visited art museum, with a collection that spans work from ancient civilizations to the mid-19th century.

With more than 350 years of history, the Paris Opera is renowned for its qualitative and wide programming, both at the Palais Garnier and the Bastille Opera house, but also for the unique architecture of its two theaters open to visitors during the day. With more than 400 curtain raises per year, the Paris Opera offers rich ballet, opera and concert programs, as well as a programming specially made for a younger audience. The Paris Opera’s mission is to make works from the operatic and choreographic heritage available to as many people as possible, to promote the creation and performance of contemporary works, and to contribute to the professional training and development of singers and dancers. Located on the third floor of the Historical Factory, the Perfume Museum was inaugurated in 1975. This was the very first perfume museum to open its doors in the town of Grasse: a particularly bold initiative at the time. To top off the manufacturing workshop tour experience, Jean-François Costa (the father of the current directors) wanted to offer his visitors the opportunity to see antique objects that tell the history of perfume from antiquity to the present day. Precious perfumery objects (Egyptian blush spoons, medieval pomanders, etc.) are showcased alongside paintings of women grooming and antique Provençal furniture.

The Champs-Élysées in Paris is one of the world's most famous avenues. It stretches from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde and is divided by the Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées. It was first designed in the 17th century and was extended and landscaped by the French landscape architect André Le Nôtre later that century.

The first big star to appear on stage here was La Goulue - the famous cancan dancer of the late 19th-century. Since then, top French and international stars have appeared in succession: Edith Piaf, Joséphine Baker, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Madonna … and many others! The Olympia also stages numerous stand-up comedy shows.

The Eglise de la Madeleine is situated between Place de la Concorde and the Palais Garnier opera house, in Haussmannian Paris. Its construction started in 1764 and finished in 1842. Its appearance is atypical of that of a religious building, in the form of a Greek temple without any crosses or bell-towers. Napoleon wanted it to be a pantheon in honor of his armies.
