Additional Information
MANDARIN ORIENTAL, PARIS, THE FIRST FRENCH HIGH QUALITY ENVIRONMENT HOTEL The commitment for the obtaining of the High Quality Environment certification (HQE) is one of the keystones of Mandarin Oriental, Paris. As the first hotel in France recognised for this sustainable development approach, Mandarin Oriental, Paris, has made its mark on the Parisian hotel scene. This eco-responsible policy enables the property to save 20 to 30% of energy in comparison with a non HQE building. The entire hotel life is organised around this goal, and with the backing of the hotel management team, manages to successfully marry luxury and environmental concerns: an inner garden with around a hundred different trees and shrubs, the assurance of good air quality thanks to a specific air filter system, soundproofed windows, and water saving thanks to a drip system in the garden, plus control of the air temperature. WE CARE - HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSURANCES AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL At Mandarin Oriental, Paris the comfort, health, safety and security of our guests and colleagues is always our primary concern. Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic, additional measures have been introduced to ensure your comfort and safety as part of our groupwide ‘We Care’ initiative including: •This include branded personal protective equipment for all guests - comprised of masks, hand sanitisers and gloves, increased cleaning of surfaces throughout public areas and in guest rooms focusing on frequently used elements such as door handles, table distancing measures in dining outlets, and private areas for training and treatments available in many spas and wellness areas. •Increased anti-viral disinfection measures in place for all in room soft furnishings and surfaces e.g. telephones, bedside buttons and ornaments, guest room bedding and linens cleaned and changed daily and bagged in the guest room to reduce excess contact, and increased use of anti-viral disinfection measures in place across all spa and wellness facilities. A more detailed & up-to-date presentation of the list of all actions taken by Mandarin Oriental as a group is available at the following link = https://www.mandarinoriental.com/special-notice.
