VillageFest is a weekly street fair that takes place every Thursday night in downtown Palm Springs, California. The fair features art, entertainment, shopping, and food. It's been a weekly institution in the Southern California desert community since 1991. The fair takes place on Palm Canyon Drive, which is closed to vehicular traffic and transformed into a festive, pedestrian street fair. The fair occupies roughly four blocks of town. The hours for the fair are 6 PM–10 PM from October through May and 7 PM–10 PM from June through September. The perimeter of the event consists of Indian Canyon Drive to the east and Belardo Road to the west. Thousands of locals and visitors attend the fair each Thursday evening.
