Bikaner House was the summer residence of the Royal Family of Bikaner built by Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner in 1893. The Palace Hotel as it is now called, was converted into a hotel in 1962 and is today a classified ‘Heritage Hotel’. Located in the southern part of Rajasthan, bordering Gujrat, it is most easily accessed by road and rail. The nearest train station is Abu Road train station which is 21 kms away, situated at the foot of the mountains.
