Bass Lake is classified as a "warm water" lake with its temperature reaching 80 degrees in summer months. There are three, privately owned and operated boat rentals on Bass Lake (one on the north shore and two on the south shore) that offer a great variety of water crafts; from pontoon boats, ski boats, jet skis to kayaks, paddle boards and water tubes.
