Sint Pietersberg

It is one of South Limburg's most popular hills, the Sint Pietersberg. The excavation work, both above and below ground have shaped this hill. On the hill you have a spectacular view of the former ENCI quarry. This has been successfully returned to nature. Now butterflies, bats, rare plants and even the eagle owl has a nest here! At the head of the mountain lies the impressive Fort Sint Pieter with its underground passages. Above ground wind numerous hiking trails and a mountain bike route unique to the Netherlands.
