More

OVERVIEW Situated in the center of Downtown, Hotel Per La, Autograph Collection is a hotel inspired by the building in which it’s housed. Originally the Bank of Italy, a historic 12-story building on the corner of Olive and 7th Street, the space is a symbol of inclusion and accomplishment. Per La is an inspired name that translates to “For The” in Italian, a nod to the buildings storied beginning as a bank for the people. Its founder, Amadeo Giannini believed in the dignity and abilities of those commonly overlooked. In essence, our name means: “For Los Angeles.” ROOMS Each of the 241 rooms and suites are set in a residential feel, taking inspiration from California and Italy. The rooms’ soft color palette is drawn from the lobby’s fully restored, gold and blue Italianate ceiling. All rooms feature custom furnishings and Bellino linens, a marble writing desk with settee, an extensive curated art program and European-style bathrooms with Terrazzo floored walk-in showers, many offering freestanding pedestal bathtubs. NEIGHBORHOOD Set in the most walkable district of the city, Per La provides guests with a unique, car free, way to experience Los Angeles. Notable dining, shopping, and convention centers are a few steps away along with easy access to metro lines connecting guests with rest of the city. Per La is a short 35 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 25 minutes from Bob Hope Airport (BUR).
