The Aquarium of the Pacific is Southern California’s largest aquarium and the fifth largest in the nation. With nearly 1.4 million annual visitors, including 200,000 school children, the Aquarium of the Pacific is also the third largest cultural attraction in the Los Angeles area. In addition to providing a fun and educational experience for families of all ages and backgrounds through our interactive exhibits and daily presentations, the Aquarium hosts a variety of educational programs, cultural festivals, classes and courses, offsite field trips, renowned guest speakers, and more to connect our diverse community with each other and the ocean.

Kids of all ages can experience the magic of Shoreline Village’s carousel or practice their hoop skills in the arcade. The more adventurous-at-heart might rent a bicycle and head off down Long Beach’s coastline bike path. Shoreline Village also offers sailing lessons, personal watercraft rentals and harbor cruises. In the summer months, families can relax to the sounds of free seaside concerts on the Village’s Off-Boardwalk stage. And with all the entertainment available for the kids, maybe you can sneak away to the day spa for a rejuvenating facial or massage.
