Nishihonganji

The locals call it “Onishi-san”, and it is a temple that is familiar to the local community. It is home to a number of national treasures, including the Mikedo, which has a solemn atmosphere, and the Karamon gate, also known as the Higurashi gate. On the 16th of every month, several national treasures and important cultural properties are opened to the public as “Shinran Day”. Every morninng 6:00am, we can experience reading of scriptures for 1hour.
