More
Penrhos is unique - by any sense of the word. First built in 1280 when Edward I King of England, came down the hill, past Penrhos, and took Kington away from the Welsh. Penrhos has somehow survived, by pure chance, for more than seven hundred years as a farm on the border of Herefordshire and Wales. It offers its guests with 15 elegantly designed, comfortable and well furnished guest rooms. Now, after 40 years of work, repairing and rebuilding it emerges as the most delightful set of buildings that you could find anywhere. There are three periods to the main house, the great medieval Cruck hall with stone flag floors and an inglenook corner, a 15c cross wing and an Elizabethan house. The house looks out onto a courtyard with a pond in the middle humming and blooming with life. It offers its guests with 15 elegantly designed, comfortable and well furnished guest rooms. In addition, it has a number of packages available for special events, meetings, retreats, business and corporate meetings.
