Sun Valley is the first designation ski resort in the US. Opened in 1936 the resort is home to the first chair lift, 2200 acres of ski-able Terran, over 3400 verticle, and no lift lines. In the summer the resort has amazing golf, tennis, ice skating, and pool areas.

Galena Lodge is a recreational day lodge in the Boulder Mountains of central Idaho. We offer cross country skiing in the winter, hiking and biking in the summer, and breathtaking views and cuisine all year. We strive to provide an experience that transports our guests from hectic, day-to-day life, to a calm place founded in quality living and the outdoors. It’s not tacky, dated sweater fashion that’s being celebrated when Sun Valley has been hailed as “Nordic Town USA.” This is some of the best and definitely most immaculately groomed Nordic ski terrain in the US. With 200 km+/- of networked trails, linking the south valley to the north as well as several spur Nordic track networks, it's one of the most expansive and convenient trail systems anywhere. Sun Valley is such a (freakishly aerobic) Nordic mecca that the US Olympic Committee designated it the country's first Nordic Olympic Training Site and Paralympic Training Site for the world's best athletes.

Redfish Lake Lodge has been a place of Adventure, Tradition and Idaho Hospitality since Robert Limbert stacked the first logs of the Lodge in 1929. He envisioned a place where people could “turn their back on the grind of the civilized world”. Nestled in the valley, four public golf courses offer the recreational and serious golfer a chance to tee off in one of the nations finest resort areas. Sun Valley offers a championship course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The Sun Valley Museum of Art (SVMoA) was founded in 1971, as the Sun Valley Center for the Arts and Humanities, on the belief that a community cannot be built solely from the presence of a beautiful mountain but needs arts and culture to be both vital and sustainable. Since then, SVMoA has evolved into a forward-thinking contemporary art museum that enriches our community through art and education and by providing a place where artists and creative minds can explore our time’s most engaging questions. As the oldest arts organization in the Wood River Valley, and one of only five institutions in Idaho accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, SVMoA serves as the valley’s cultural anchor, bringing families, visitors and residents together for shared arts experiences. We offer exceptional year-round programming in visual arts, music, film, and the humanities.

Ketchum still supports the kind of fishery you might have imagined existed back when Lewis & Clark first made their trip through Idaho. Fly fishing on four extraordinarily diverse waterways sit anywhere from a stones throw to an hour drive away hold a diverse species of fish. Find monstrous brown trout in Silver Creek, healthy rainbows in the Big Wood River, vibrant cutthroats in the Lost River, and apex bull trout & salmonoids in the Salmon River. Combined, these famed Idaho rivers/creeks make the area a true nexus of freshwater fly fishing.
