Meet, Engage Inspire: Opening Summer 2024, the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center will offer world-class meeting experiences in this "Gorges" location. The new downtown center will feature: • 15,000+ square feet of bi-level meeting space • First-floor Junior Ballroom and Boardroom • Second-floor Grand Ballroom • Ample Pre-Function Space Don’t Just Meet – Stay & Play: The Ithaca Downtown Conference Center is less than 0.2 miles from each of our four Downtown Hotel Partners, Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown, Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons, Hilton Garden Inn and Hotel Ithaca. In total, Ithaca has more than 1800 hotel rooms ranging from boutique and independently owned properties to larger flagship brands, with 564 rooms located downtown in our partner hotels. Meeting attendees can explore Restaurant Row as well as the Downtown Ithaca Commons, a walkable pedestrian mall just around the corner from the new center. Ithaca also offers stunning natural beauty just a short walk to nearby waterfalls and gorges. Let these open spaces open minds of your attendees with inspiration from nature, fostering innovation and creativity. Community Collaboration: The Ithaca Downtown Conference Center was a shared vision of the Downtown Ithaca Alliance, City of Ithaca, Tompkins County Tourism Program, Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and Ithaca/Tompkins County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Ithaca Downtown Conference is supported by all lodging partners in Tompkins County, specifically hotels in the city of Ithaca, with the four Downtown Hotel partners as the anchor. Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown, Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons, Hilton Garden Inn and Hotel Ithaca have been critical in supporting this project since day one, investing in its success by committing to capital project funding as well as annual financial contributions The Downtown Ithaca Local Development Corporation (DILDC) owns the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center. The DILDC was formed as a non-profit local development corporation to provide economic development within the Ithaca community and its downtown central city core by: • Driving new economic activity which will support hundreds of local jobs and dozens of local businesses • Attracting new and returning visitors to our community, especially during the times of week and season of the year when our visitation is low • Contributing to the vibrancy and success of downtown Ithaca, our community’s core, as a community partner and a respectful and supportive neighbor The Ithaca Downtown Conference Center will be operated by ASM Global. ASM is a world-class leader in conference center management and a true partner to advancing this initiative and advising the project team. Hotel rooms are not part of the Ithaca Downton Conference Center. The Conference Center is just blocks from our four Downtown Hotel Partners who collectively can provide 564 hotel rooms: Canopy by Hilton Ithaca Downtown (131 rooms) Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons (159 rooms) Hilton Garden Inn (104 rooms) Hotel Ithaca (170 rooms) In total, Ithaca has more than 1800 hotel rooms across boutique, independently owned and flagship brand properties.
