After being completely destroyed by the air raids in the Second World War, the quarter has been growing since the 1980s – not least because of its particularly good transport connections. Since 2021 project teams and companies can rent flexible offices and coworking options at Design Offices Hamburg Hammerbrook in the Elbe metropolis. With more than 9,000 sqm, the new location is the largest Design Offices property in Hamburg in terms of space.
