Mansion of Kirkhill is a Grade B listed, 18th Century Italianate mansion. It was extended in 1828 to its existing size and features bags of character and many period features throughout the building. The Mansion was originally a family home, but became Kirkhill Hotel in the 1970's. Kirkhill Mansion is situated only 10 miles from Edinburgh city centre, and only minutes from Edinburghs park and ride helping you take the stress out of parking in the city. The Mansion is truly a country retreat. With over 3000 established trees in the estate, the North Esk River running around half of the boundry, you are almost guaranteed seasonal sightings of deer, bats, trout, rabbits, water voles, wood peckers and numerous song birds. Kirkhill Mansion has 15 rooms, set over two floors of the house, with a mix of super kings, doubles and family rooms which have a superking and a set of bunk beds. The mansion can accommodate up to 40 people in the Mansion in various setups, and have plenty of spare beds and bedding to go around should they be required for a larger group. The mansion offers a Garden Room which has a large glass table to seats 6 people, and is ideal for small group dinner or a board meeting, with views out across the rear grounds.
