La Pietra
About us
LA PIETRA is an exclusive 57-acre estate located on one of the foothills overlooking Florence. Composed of five villas and one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy, La Pietra is one of the most important cultural centers in Italy. The main villa, Villa La Pietra houses the famous Acton Art Collection. Villa Sassetti serves as La Pietra’s International Conference and Events Center. The other three villas, Colletta, Natalia and Ulivi are home to New York University in Florence, a center for overseas studies. This unique position makes La Pietra the ideal setting for international meetings, dialogues and symposiums. We continue to host heads of state, government officials, business executives and scholars every year. VILLA SASSETTI has been restored and exclusively designed for conferences. It provides the ideal environment for the most demanding business gatherings. It houses spacious and specially designed meeting rooms supported by an ultramodern computer lab and AV equipment, enhanced by a dedicated conference support staff, concierge service, dining facilities, loggias and a large terrace and formal garden for outdoor functions. There are a variety of meeting rooms to satisfy specific needs
