The Con­ven­tion Centre opens its doors to pro­fes­sion­al and gen­er­al pub­lic events, from 20 to 7,000 people. The CID Deau­ville bene­fits from an excep­tion­al envir­on­ment, just a stone­’s throw from the beach and the fam­ous Deau­ville boards. It offers 18,000m² of space for the organ­iz­a­tion of mem­or­able events.

Right on Deauville's boardwalk, the Bar du Soleil boasts a magnificent pergola where visitors can enjoy the benefits of the coast at any time of the year. This gourmet location is a must for coffee or to sample a traditional dish of Italian cuisine.

Invested since 1878 by the congregation of Franciscan sisters who lived there, this remarkable heritage of Deauville is now a unique place, entirely dedicated to culture. It brings together a museum, an auditorium, a performance hall, exhibition, reading and documentation spaces structured around themes dear to Deauville: horses, cinema, entertainment, photography, the art of living and the youth. With its innovative scenography, this new living space in Deauville invites the visitor to become an actor and put his "imaginary to work". Here, no signposted route, everyone chooses according to their inspirations. Shows, concerts, literary meetings, conferences, major exhibitions, cultural events related to the artistic and editorial news of the place are scheduled throughout the year. At the heart of the building, a museum is dedicated to the figurative painter André Hamburg (1909-1999). The Cour des expositions and the Galerie des maîtres notably host masterpieces by the greatest Impressionist painters.

Deauville-La Touques is the racecourse with the most races in the year! It has earned its nickname of the "4 seasons" racecourse, with a program of some forty days of flat racing, the discipline in which the speed of thoroughbreds is expressed to the full. In August, the racecourse organizes its famous Meeting de Deauville Barrière, a month of intense sport where prestigious races (Group 1) follow one another and the training center grows from 400 horses year-round to 700 in summer. Every year, elite riders and an international clientele flock here to watch the many races that have earned it its reputation: Prix Rothschild, ARC Prix Maurice de Gheest, Al Rayyan Cup Prix Kesberoy & Doha Cup Prix Manganate, Prix du Haras de Fresnay-Le-Buffard Jacques Le Marois... and to round off the summer season, the Lucien Barrière Grand Prix de Deauville.
