That’s the easy part! Dallas Marriott Downtown is located just 6.3 miles from Love Field (HUB: Southwest Airlines) and 19 miles from DFW International Airport (HUB: American Airlines). Between both airports, Dallas is proud to offer 2,200 flights daily as it only takes approximately 3 hours to get to Dallas from the East or West coast. For those driving, convenient on-site valet parking is available at the hotel for overnight guests (currently $50.00 per night). Guests can also self-park in the parking garage adjacent to the hotel (currently $18.00 per night). Looking for alternate transportation route? Dallas is an extremely Uber, Lyft, Taxi and Super Shuttle friendly. Also, take the DART (Rapid Transit) from DFW International Airport for only $3.00 each way – DART has a station at the corner of our property.

One of Texas’ most visited historic sites, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza chronicles the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. The Museum is in the former Texas School Book Depository building, where evidence of a sniper was found after the assassination of President Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Much of the exhibit space looks as it appeared in the 1960s. Highlights include a sniper’s perch, the FBI model used by the Warren Commission, an original teletype machine that first transmitted news of the president’s death, Oswald’s wedding ring, historic films, photos and more. An interactive display overlooks Dealey Plaza. Admission includes an audio guide, available in eight languages including ASL. The museum is open daily in 2018 except Christmas.
