Carlsberg City District (in Danish: Carlsberg Byen) is the new vibrant area of Copenhagen where you want to stay. A hood booming with activity, where cool shops, urban restaurants and cafés line the streets along with numerous sights of culture and art as well. Hotel Ottilia is the center of this new area. Explore the neighborhood through suggestions of the staff or stroll around in the quarter, where you find locals hanging out on the small squares or the historic gardens among the industrial buildings (once known for brewing beer). Actually the district emerged when J.C. Jacobsen founded his original brewery here - making it a historic area,. You can still find the old stables, orginal buildings and The Jacobsen House Brewery. On your way you will also meet creative minded folk and students at the campus as they have their daily way here.
