Jinsha Ruins Museum

Museum
8 km away
Jinsha site is the urban center of the ancient Shu Kingdom, the center of the ancient civilization of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, from the 12th century BC to the 7th century BC (approximately 3,200-2,600 years ago). Its civilization, along with the Sanxingdui civilization, was two of the peaks of development in ancient Shu history. As the first major archaeological discovery in 21st century China, Jinsha site has excavated the densest collection of ivory, the most abundant gold and jade artifacts of any site dating back to the same period globally. The most famous Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament, has been determined as the main pattern of China cultural heritage and the symbol of Chengdu's urban image. The discovery of Jinsha site proves that Chengdu has an urban history of more than 3,000 years, thus being regarded as the starting point of Chengdu's urban history. Jinsha site was named one of the Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2001, a national key cultural relic protection unit and one of the first batch of national archaeology parks, and was included in the China World Cultural Heritage Reserve List, along with Sanxingdui site. On April 16, 2007, Jinsha Site Museum was opened on the site of Jinsha site, covering an area of 300,000 square meters and a total construction area of approximately 40,000 square meters. The museum includes the Relics Hall, the Exhibition Hall, the Cultural Relics Protection and Restoration Center, the Cultural Exchange Center, the Visitor Center, the Youth Education and Experience Area, and the Garden Area. Jinsha Site Museum is one of the most representative exhibition sites of the ancient Shu civilization. It breaks through traditional exhibition methods and utilizes innovative operating concepts to showcase the mysterious Jinsha culture of the ancient Shu civilization. The museum is currently a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, a national first-class museum, a national science popularization education base, a national research practice education base for elementary and middle school students, and a base for postdoctoral innovation practice in Sichuan Province.

The scenery is breathtaking: trees cover the slopes as crystal clear rivers wind down the hills. Forests line the paths, nesting birds that sing their sweet melodies. Kuai Zhai Xiang Zi Alley

Historical landmark
12 km away
Kuanzhai Alley is located near Changshun Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is composed of wide alley, narrow alley and well alley arranged in parallel, all of which are ancient courtyard houses with Qingdai tiles. It is also a relatively large Qing Dynasty ancient street left over from Chengdu, and together with Daci Temple and Wenshu Courtyard, it is known as the three protected blocks of Chengdu's historical and cultural cities. In the 57th year of Kangxi (1718), after putting down the Zhunge Rebellion, Nian Jiyao built Mancheng on the basis of the few cities in that year, and stationed the officers and soldiers of the Eight banners of Manchu and Mongolia. In the early years of the Republic of China, the city manager at that time changed the "hutong" to "alley". In the 1980s, Kuanzhai Alley was included in the "Chengdu Historical and Cultural City Protection Plan".
