About us

Salt - the Essential Ingredient, sits on the fantastic waterside development of Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay. Holding a central point to the quayside you can enjoy alfresco drinking and dining with unspoilt views across Cardiff Bay. We have a large upstairs area which we can hire out for any occasion including birthdays, work parties, leaving parties and much more! The upstairs can hold up to about 150 people which will also give you the balcony to enjoy the sea view.
