About us

Welcome to the Golden Ox Restaurant and Function Centre – where delicious food and amazing service is just the beginning. Situated on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, the family owned and operated, Golden Ox has developed its position as an iconic, award-winning dining and events landmark for over 34 years. There is a lot more to The Golden Ox than meets the eye - with a modern restaurant and cocktail bar, large indoor reception rooms and stunning secluded gardens it's the premium setting for weddings, cocktail parties corporate product launches or private functions. The secluded gardens have an undercover area, stage adjoining garden bar, and there is ample space for more than 300 guests for cocktail parties and over 100 for seated alfresco dining. There is plenty of free undercover parking and free on street parking.
