About us

Malt Restaurant and Bar – a stylish, warm and inviting drinking/dining and socializing icon in the heart of suburban Auckland yet just a short drive from the central city. It is situated in upmarket West Lynn, Malt’s contemporary and much praised interior décor reflects New Zealand’s pioneer heritage - with painstakingly restored natural kauri floorboards and walls, comfortable leather banquette seating, and a modern library-like lounge setting in front of a roaring natural wood fire. Catering for any occasion from a breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktail function indoors Malt can seat up to 50 people with the outdoor deck seating or up to 85 people standing. Alternatively you can book the entire restaurant exclusively with room for 100 seated or 150 standing. It offers a range of options for food with set menus, platters or a buffet option.
