Hotel Edda Laugarbakki is located in at the base of the Miafjoraur fjord, halfway between Reykjavík and Akureyri. An area rich in history, this region was once the scene of jousting tournaments, according to the Icelandic Sagas. It is now an altogether more peaceful place, with the secluded Vatnsnes peninsula, brooding basalt cliffs and the bull-shaped Hvítserkur rock exuding natural calm.
