Seafarer's Club Chennai has two air-conditioned conference halls that are as pretty as a picture. These conference halls serve the purpose of holding business conferences, press conferences, seminars and training programs. Regulars seminars are conducted for the seamen, school students and for the future ship visitors. The seminars are conducted by inviting prominent speaker from the marine industry who speak on topics like solving the manning crisis in the maritime industry, Indian maritime transport services global opportunities and challenges etc. and to enlighten them about the life on board the hazards and risks at sea, the problems faced by the seamen family when the seafarer is away at sea and how the ship visitors can help the family on shore and the men at sea.
