Emarald Hotel in Chennai is of its own class. Situated opposite to the well known Ripon Building, the administrative office of the Mayor of Chennai. It has comfortable rooms and a conference hall. Chennai is the largest city in Tamil Nadu and the fourth largest metropolitan city of India. The city was formerly known as Madras and was established by the British. Around 20th century, Chennai became an important administrative headquarter and the capital of Madras Presidency.
