Fort Amherst is based in Chatham, Medway, Kent, is Britain’s largest Napoleonic Fortress and provides a great day out for all the family. Fort Amherst is an ancient historic monument with a range of spectacular and unique sites both inside and outside within the grounds that are available for private hire. From corporate events to music events and children’s parties there are so many possibilities. Fort Amherst is a truly unique and spectacular location for your wedding. You can be married deep within the tunnel complex and light the way with over 800 tea lights and stunning natural foliage from the Fort’s grounds. The tunnels can also host your reception for up to 100 guests with open fires and soft candlelight.
