About us
The Lodge at Tarraleah is located in Tarraleah, Australia and was originally built in the 1930’s, in an Art Deco style. The Lodge housed the cream of Tasmania’s pioneering hydro electricity engineers and architects. The guest book featured the powerful and famous and if you have the time to listen, has hosted more than its share of the risqué! The Lodge luxury accommodation has 9 art deco style luxury suites. The Edge Function Centre is available for weddings, conferences and small group bookings. The Highlander is happy to offer the use of our private dining room, available for couples or small groups. This room provides extraordinary Tasmanian dining for small business meetings, corporate presentations, or family get-togethers. Be surprised at the difference we can make to your event, whether it’s a small private Tasmanian wedding for 20, or a “book the whole town” event for 120.
